Offshore Personal
Prescription Shipping is
Legal, Regulated & Established
across Southeast Asia.
Personal prescription drug importation is a recognised and routinely practiced legal pathway in every active market we serve. Each country in our operating footprint has a published personal-use importation framework under which a licensed pharmacist can ship a prescribed medicine directly to a patient across borders — with no criminal exposure for the patient or the dispenser. This document sets out how that framework operates, market by market.
Personal-Use Importation Is Statutory
Every country in our active footprint — Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand — maintains a published statutory pathway for individuals to import a personal supply of a foreign-dispensed prescription medicine. This is not a loophole; it is codified health policy.
PrEP (TDF/FTC) Is Not a Controlled Substance
Tenofovir/emtricitabine (generic Truvada) is classified as a standard prescription medicine — not a narcotic, controlled drug, or psychotropic — in every jurisdiction we operate in. It faces no special customs scheduling beyond routine prescription-drug declaration requirements.
Telehealth Prescription Is the Accepted Standard
Each shipment is accompanied by a valid prescription issued by a licensed Thai physician via our telehealth platform, plus a pharmacy dispensing record. This documentation satisfies the import-permit and customs-declaration requirements in all active markets.
All PrideHealth products are non-controlled prescription medicines — they require a doctor's Rx but carry no narcotic scheduling, no import licence, and no law enforcement exposure. Regulatory treatment is equivalent to blood pressure or cholesterol medication, cleared through customs on a valid prescription alone.
For prescriptions that fall outside personal-import rules — such as controlled substances like testosterone, benzodiazepines, or stimulants — PrideHealth partners with licensed local doctors and pharmacies in each market to ensure fulfilment is handled entirely within that country's laws and regulations.
